Shipping & Returns Policy
General Terms
Order Accuracy: Shrimp Garage reserves the right to amend or cancel orders/services placed with incorrect delivery options without prior notice.
External Delays: We are not responsible for delays or missing parcels caused by Customs/Security checks or severe weather conditions.
Refund Policy: Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was made by us.
International Shipping: We ship dry goods and live worldwide. For international Please contact before placing the order.
UK Orders (Including Northern Ireland)
Delivery Method: Orders are shipped via Royal Mail First Class or a selected courier, depending on size and weight.
Dispatch Times: Orders placed before 1:00 PM (Monday – Thursday) are dispatched the same day (subject to stock availability). Orders placed after 1:00 PM on Friday will be dispatched the following Monday.
Tracking: You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched. If applicable, tracking numbers can be found in your 'Order History' under the 'My Account' section.
Livestock (Shrimp & Snails)
Small Orders: Shipped via Royal Mail Tracked 24 (£6.99 / £7.99 during winter).
Large/Premium Orders: Larger orders and premium Shrimps are shipped via Special Delivery (Guaranteed by 1:00 PM) (£13 / £14 during winter).
Schedule: Orders placed before 1:00 PM are shipped the same day unless you specify a preferred delivery date in the checkout notes.
Communication: You will receive a confirmation email with your scheduled shipping date, followed by a processing notification. Tracking info will be sent at the end of the dispatch day so you can monitor your livestock's journey.
Saturday Delivery: Royal Mail charges a premium rate of £20 for Saturday Special Delivery. If you require this service, please leave a note at checkout; we will contact you to collect the additional fee before dispatching.
Returns Policy
We are happy to accept returns on unwanted items within 14 days of delivery.
To maintain the safety of our aquatic environments, items must be returned in their original, sealed packaging. Because shrimp related products are highly sensitive to contamination, we cannot accept any returns if the seal has been broken.
Shipping: For your protection, please use a trackable shipping service for all returns.
Costs: Please note that return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non - refundable.
Livestock: For orders involving live shrimp, please refer to our [Terms and Condition Live on Arrival (LOA)] section.
